i have completed BE and read The gospel of ramakrishna , Sri ramakrishna the great master in tamil plenty of times and attracted towards the life of sanyasi.
But for the point no.1,
i have birth weakness of my eye and wore a power glass.
Can i join the order?
Because the first point is must be in good health condition.
That is why this question rises in me.
Pls clarify?
Why should you have a minimum marks for leading a life for God? I hope this stipulation does not prevent a deserving candidate from joining your order.
Thank you,
Indu J.
I am from Denmark and a great admirer of The Paramahamsa. Reading about the qualification needed for joining the R.K. order, seems a little odd to a western mind, sorry to say that sir... I hope a longing Heart with its wish for complete surrender to the Master must be the true requisite? I hope not it takes an exam of some kind to serve Him to serve God, does it? And what about age? I find that the CALL from within often comes after a lived life with all its sorrows and disappointments . With best intentions and respect-Carsten
It was quite interesting to read the min requirements to become a monk. Do you have any reservation quota for MBCs, OBCs, SC/ST?
Thanks,
Srinivas
